Dear Príamo,

I do regret the late news about the misunderstandings and accusations that are surrounding the next edition of the Vidarte Festival.

Although the organization is probably having many difficulties without your valuable collaboration, I sincerely hope that the audience may find an interesting exhibition and that the artists and collaborators may have a reasonable space for the presentation of their work.

In many occasions I had the chance to work together with you and know for sure that you are an excellent professional, deeply concerned with the quality of the exhibitions in which you are involved - always caring about the whole curatorship process - looking after the artistic coherence of your programs just as the details involved in the complex production of an electronic art show.

It’s also remarkable how your personal attitude towards your colleagues complements your professional work, creating a warm surrounding that facilitate the dialogue, the critical thinking and the exchange between our different points of view, culture and experience.

For all those reasons, I would like to share with you and with everybody involved in this situation my best wishes of a successful festival and the end of the public discussion on your professional choices.

I am sure that this awful situation won’t diminish your brilliant and internationally recognized career as an electronic art curator, just as the personal relations that one conquers while doing his job.

Best wishes,

Solange Farkas
